Other Property Tax Exemptions

Our office will accept exemption applications for the 2025 Tax Year until March 1, 2025. Applications submitted from March 2, 2024 through March 1, 2025 will be for the 2025 Tax Year.

Widow/Widower Exemption

If you're a widow or widower and haven't remarried, you may qualify for a $5000 exemption.

Disability Exemption

Florida residents with a permanent disability may qualify for a $5000 exemption.

Total & Permanent Disability Exemption

May qualify for a full exemption if wheelchair-bound or legally blind and meet income limits.

Service Connected Disability Exemption

Provides a partial exemption to veterans with a service-connected disability of 10% or more.

Service Connected Disability Exemption for Surviving Spouse

Provides a full exemption for the unremarried surviving spouse of a veteran who died from service-connected causes.

Combat Related Disability Tax Discount

Offers a property tax discount to veterans aged 65 or older with a combat-related disability.

Service-Connected Total and Permanent Disability Exemption

Provides a full exemption for honorably discharged veterans with a service-connected total and permanent disability.

Deployed Military Exemption

Provides an exemption based on time served overseas in designated combat zones.

First Responder Exemption

Provides relief for totally and permanently disabled first responders injured in the line of duty.

Fallen Hero Exemption

Grants a full exemption to the surviving spouse of a first responder killed in the line of duty.
