Certification

Each year, the Property Appraiser issues two certifications of the tax roll:

• Initial Certification This is the first certification of the Tax Roll by the Property Appraiser, prior to the annual Tax Bills being mailed by the Tax Collector. This certification is usually in October.
• Final Certification This is the second certification of the Tax Roll which reflects all changes made by the Value Adjustment Board together with any adjustments or changes made by the Property Appraiser. This certification is usually in February.
